Who is Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy

Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy is the leader of the 7 million strong Kingdom of Jesus Christ, the fastest growing congregation in the world. From Davao City, Philippines, it has produced local congregations in more than 2,000 cities and 200 countries around the globe.

Three decades ago, Pastor Apollo was a Filipino evangelist of a leading denomination when the Almighty Father called him and revealed to him that he will be entrusted with the Kingdom of God on earth. This is the ministry that will set men free from the bondage of religion and denomination. This is the way for man to receive true and genuine salvation. 

On September 1, 1985, the Kingdom of Jesus Christ was officially established in the Philippines. From Davao City, it created Kingdom Light Congregations (KLCs) in Mindanao, then in the National Capital Region, in Luzon and in the Visayas until the Gospel of the Kingdom was spread overseas beginning in Asia, then in the United States of America and Canada, in the Middle East, and in Europe and Africa.  

This mandate given by the Almighty Father to the Appointed Son was expedited by the use of worldwide broadcast satellite technology. For years, Pastor Apollo's preaching programs have been dominating the airwaves, 24 hours a day, seven days a week, through the Sonshine Media Network International. 

Pastor Apollo has also founded a world-class academic institution offering quality education from pre-school to college level, the Jose Maria College.

The Kingdom of Jesus Christ has also produced ministers, administrators and missionaries sent worldwide through the ACQ College of Ministries.

Pastor Apollo has also established the Keepers’ Club International, a school-based organization that is aimed at developing talents and leadership among the young people. It provides free music lessons, leadership and team-building workshops in different universities and colleges in the Philippines, and key cities around the world.

The effect of empowering the youths has led to the creation of the Kingdom Choir, and the Kingdom Orchestra. Pastor Apollo has selflessly molded these youths so that they will never go astray from God.

The annual International Youth Congress in Davao City highlights the electrifying energy of youths trained to become productive citizens in the future.

A breath-taking spectacle, the Covenant Mountain and the Paradise Garden of Eden Restored, has been visited by people, prominent and ordinary, who all have expressed synonymous quips, all praises and commendations on how Pastor Apollo was able to build this haven in an unknown spot at the foothills of Mt. Apo, Tamayong, Davao City.

The outward expansion in international shores has included the inclusion of sprawling Kingdom compounds and worship centers in the Kingdom’s international head offices: London, Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Vancouver and Toronto, Dubai, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok and Jakarta.

The Kingdom of Jesus Christ has also extended influence through the programs of its Ministry to the Poor. 

Sonshine Philippines Movement, or SPM directed its thrust to a sustainable method of protecting, developing and managing the environment. Its showcase is the Glory Mountain in Tamayong, Davao City, which used to be a barren wasteland transformed into a vast pine tree forest. It has also gained the support of volunteers as it conducts massive clean-up drive in streets, canals and esteros in the Philippines. At the same time, SPM is known to assist calamity victims through relief operations and recovery assistance.

Meanwhile, the Children’s Joy Foundation, Inc., is driven by Pastor Apollo’s mission to feed, clothe, shelter and send to school three million children in the Philippines.  Under this campaign has been the non-stop support for free education for children, the regular giving away of school supplies, shoes, clothes, books and other basic necessities for children.

Pastor Apollo is deemed as a spiritual adviser of the Philippines’ luminaries, dignitaries from the highest officials of the Republic to military, civic group organizations and others who seek spiritual and personal counsels from the good pastor.

In the years to come, the Kingdom of Jesus Christ is gearing full-speed ahead as the construction of the world-class, multi-purpose arena in Davao City, the King Dome will be completed.
